We have four community gardens around the neighbourhood, offering everyone the chance to get their hands dirty, learn more about gardening, and meet others from the community. Whether you’re growing flowers, veggies, or just your love of the outdoors, there’s a garden waiting for you. Drop by, have a look around, and see what’s growing!
Keen to help care for our natural environment? Join one of our four bushcare groups working to protect and restore the remaining patches of native reserves in the neighbourhood.
A community project raising awareness of the importance and beauty of trees. Tie a yellow bow around your favourite neighbourhood tree and follow our campaign on Instagram.
Verge gardens are popping up all over our city. They create opportunities for social interaction with neighbours, increase biodiversity, support street trees, and much more.
We’ve developed a robust process for verge gardeners to follow and with the St Lucia Community Garden we are keen to offer encouragement and support.
